North Eastern Railway has issued a recruitment notification for the job of Trade Apprentice Trainees. For this railway job, applications have been invited from eligible candidates who have passed 10th standard and have degree of ITI in relevant trade and fulfill the other eligibility criteria on or before 2nd January 2012. Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) will select the candidates for the job of Trade Apprentice Trainee on the basis of their obtained marks in ITI and an Oral test conducted by it. - Fitter – 23 in which 12 for Gen, 06 for OBC, 03 for SC and 02 for ST.
- Welder (G&E) – 08 (04-UR, 02-OBC, 01-SC and 01-ST)
- Electrician – 03 in which 02 for Gen and 01 for OBC
- Carpenter – 20 (UR-10, OBC-05, SC-03 and ST-02)
- Mechanic (Machine and Tools) – 10 (05 for Gen, 03 for OBC, 01 for SC and 01 for ST)
- Painter – 11 in which 05 for UR, 03 for OBC, 02 for SC and 01 for ST.
- Machinist – 05 in which 03 for UR, 01 for OBC and 01 for SC.
Eligibility Criteria:
Age limit: Applicant should not be less than 15 years of age and not more than 22 years of age as on 29th November 2011.
Relaxation in age limit: Candidates who belong to the OBC category will be relaxed in maximum age limit by 03 years and SC / ST category candidates by 05 years.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should have completed High School Examination from any Government Institution.
Technical Qualification: Candidates must have ITI Degree in any one of the above given Trade for applying against the North Eastern Railway Recruitment 2011 job for Trade Apprentice Trainees.
Selection Process: No any written test will be conducted for the recruitment. Candidates will be selected on the basis of their obtained marks in ITI followed by an Interview. Candidates will get 85% marks on the basis of marks obtained in ITI. Oral test will comprise rest 15% marks.
