Responsibilities The candidate should be a hands-on experienced QA Engineer who can work independently with minimum supervision to accomplish assigned tasks on schedule. Successful candidates will have a strong testing background in both web based application and server side testing. Qualifications : ° B.E / B.Tech in computer science/ Engineering or a related discipline. ° 6-8 years of software testing experience in a Test/QA organization. ° Ability to devise test strategies, document test plans and test cases based on analysis of business requirements, functional requirements, and design documents. ° Ability to determine test scope and provide accurate test estimates. ° Strong problem solving skills and ability to troubleshoot application and environment issues . ° Ability to identify, debug and clearly articulate software defects. ° Must effectively communicate testing status to management. ° Good knowledge of one of the programming languages(C/C++/Java) and data structures ° Good knowledge of Automation ° Working knowledge of Windows, UNIX or Linux. ° Exposure to Information Security is desirable ° Must have a proficient knowledge of software development methodologies. Agile development/methodology experience is a huge plus
