REQUIREMENT FOR SR. DOT NET DEV....

Dear Associates,

We have a requirement for the following position:

 

Position: Dot Net Developer

Location:Camphill Pa

Duration:12 Mths

 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:______________________________________________

 

·      Develop and maintain software in a variety of architectures

·      Translate business requirements into written technical specifications in support of development activities

·      Create data structures and process flows to achieve desired results

·      Develop, execute and document test plans

·      Debug software and solve production problems

·      Prepare documentation needed to develop and implement software applications

·      Maintain current knowledge in the technical field by learning new and existing programming languages, vendor software, applications and databases through formal, informal and on-the-job training

·      Mentor teammates on technical skillset

·      Coordinate with other teams and team members to solve problems, support and coordinate the implementation of computer systems

·      Provide on-call support of production applications as part of a rotation within the development team. This requires 24 hours per day, 7 days per week availability during the on call period. The frequency will be dependent upon the number of associates in the rotation.

·      Work special shifts when required to support special projects or activities

·      Perform other duties as assigned

 

 QUALIFICATIONS:__________________________________________________________

 

·      Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or closely related field from an accredited university or college AND 4 years of related experience in the development and design of architectures.

·      Experience developing applications utilizing .NET (C#, ASP.NET)

·      Demonstrated experience with SQL in Oracle, DB2 and/or SQL Server

·      Knowledge of object-oriented development and n-tier design

·      Experience in full lifecycle development, testing, and implementation

·      Excellent communication and problem solving skills

·      Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills

·      Experience utilizing Microsoft Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010

·      Experience with IBM Websphere

·      Experience utilizing SQL Server Management Studio and/or Team Foundation Server

Experience working in a retail environment
