1. Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT) – 11602 Posts
2. School Assistant – 5695 Posts
3. Physical Education Teacher (PET) – 364 Posts
4. Language Pandit (LP) – 1998 Posts
Eligibility Criteria for SGT, PET, LP & School Assistant:
Age Limit and Relaxations: Age of the candidates for the above mentioned posts should be between 18 and 39 years as on 01/07/2012. Maximum for SC / ST Candidates is 44 years and for PH Candidates is 49 years
Educational Qualifications:
1. Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT): – Class 12th Passed from Andhra Pradesh Board or Any other and D.Ed Certificate. Candidates should have qualified APTET
2. School Assistants: – Graduate degree and Bachelor of Educational in relevant subject having APTET Certificates
3. Physical Education Teacher: (PET)- Class 12th Passed from Andhra Pradesh Board or equivalent qualifications and U.G.D.P.Ed or Graduate degree and B.P.Ed or M.P.Ed recognized by NCTE
4. Language Pandit: – Graduate Degree and Bachelor of Education in relevant subject with APTET Certificates
Selection Procedure: Selection for all the posts except Physical Education Teacher (PET) will made on the basis of Marks obtained in Written Test which will be 80% and in TET which will be 20%. To qualify for PET, candidates will have to obtain 100% Marks in Written Test
