Detailed Description:
Design, develop and deliver cutting edge intellectual property (IP) such as PCI Express for Xilinx FPGA device architectures. Join the team that created the world's first IP core for PCIExpress. Looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and produces high quality results. This position encompasses all aspect of IP development from specification, coding and simulation to hardware validation and release.

Primary responsibilities: Research, design, verify, document, productize and maintain intellectual property core products.

General Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and enhancements of the PCI Express IP core
• Responsible for developing and maintaining a high quality robust IP environment to deliver to the end customer
• Responsible for RTL verification and hardware testing
• Coordinate IP block delivery with software and IC design teams
• Create and maintain IP delivery mechanisms using Xilinx internal delivery tools
• Create documentation (data sheets, user guides, application notes, etc) for IP blocks
• Assist software engineering (or other dependent groups) during the integration phase of projects and debug flow problems
• Assist engineering management and marketing to specify future IP products and future product enhancements
• Assist in developing product roll-out plans, schedule timelines, dependencies, etc

Desired Profile :
Required:

• B.Tech
• 0-4 years experience
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Design experience with Verilog or VHDL, synthesis tools, simulation tools and Xilinx EDA tools
• Excellent knowledge on the development of verification components such as BFMs, drivers, scenario generators, Scoreboards, Protocol monitors and checkers, functional coverage model, reference models, assertions, code coverage analysis and automation scripts etc.
• Good knowledge of the HVLs such as System Verilog and Vera
• Good working knowledge on any of the advanced verification methodologies such as OVM, VMM, eRM or RVM
• Working experience with various EDA tools
• Scripting and programming language experience such as Java, TCL, Perl, Make, etc.
• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting

Desired:

• M.Tech
• Knowledge of serial I/O protocols such as PCI Express
• Knowledge of hardware debug techniques such as ChipScope, Logic Analyzers, etc.
• Knowledge of SVA
